But whether it's as beautiful and as easy to have a dog? Of course not. Yes, owning and maintaining a dog is not easy. Especially in terms of maintenance. Moreover, with the condition we are located in Indonesia, which is where most of the territory is an area that tends to tropical heat, a dog is certainly more versatile needs extra attention. Not to mention for those lovers of long-haired breed of dog. Wow ... during the summer, just be ready to face the storm fur (doggie hair storm).
Eiiittt, but calm down .. To deal with all that follows I'll share a few tips from the experiences and lessons I learned both of several books on dog care and internet.
First we need to realize is what and where the origin of our dogs. My point here is, before starting treatment we first identify the pet dog. Especially for fans of dog races, because a lot of types of dog originating from the region or country that has a climate much colder than Indonesia. If a dog that we have comes from the cool temperate areas, then we must be prepared with super extra care.
In addition to understand the pedigree dog, we must understand about the physical condition of the dog, whether he's kind of big dogs, medium or small-bodied type of dog (Toys). In addition, an understanding of the condition of hair is also very necessary. Surely we should pay more attention to the long-haired breed of dog.
Once we understand the type and pedigree dogs, then the next one is a method of treatment of the dog's body. For that please refer to the following steps.
1. Get used to start the day by cleaning the dog's face from the eyes, ears, nose and mouth. We recommend using a type of soft cloth that has been moistened with water.
2. Dogs are basically happy with the water, but bathing the dog too often can bring the adverse implications for the treatment of dog hair, especially those with long hair. It is advisable to bathe the dog 1-2 times a week under normal conditions. After the bath, keep the dog hair completely dry.
3. Be diligent to cut dog's nails are already long. But remember, lest we cut the blood vessels in the dog's nails are looking much brighter.
4. Strive to always clean up dog hair from the dirt by combing or brushing.
5. Occasionally check and clean the dog's teeth with a toothbrush.
6. Provide de-worming, and vaccination in accordance with the dog's life.
The following are also not less important is we must maintain the cleanliness of neighborhood dogs. Because if we note the lack of cleanliness, it would be bad not only for our pet dog, but can also be fatal for our own health. And lastly, be diligent to check our pet dog to the vet.
